Wonder if anyone has additional information regarding Proctor & Gamble Iams
food? As early as the 1980's Proctor & Gamble used animals in experiments
on shampoo's/soaps. Read this directly on their product labels. Proctor &
Gamble would not say what animals they used. Since kitten food was the
first staple food used on ferrets, happen to look on a bag of Iams and
noted "that Proctor & Gamble's name now appears on their kitten food."
Also, noted "AAFCO (Associated of American Feed Control Officials) never
appeared on the label." Please check out this website at
http://www.pginfo.net/index2.html.

Are ferrets being used to produce these product? Well aware that many
ferret owners still use this product. Noted "in The pet ferret owner's
manual book", that inferior food will cause many health problems verus
ferret food specially made for ferrets. What are your opinions in this
matter? Always check labels for high meat protein, crude fat, fiber and
vitamines A,B12, E.
