I'm the primary ferret care giver in our family, but I work Saturdays and
my husband has the full weekend off, so he does 'ferret duty' on Saturday
mornings.

Our ferrets no longer have cages, but their room is divided in two, each
half having two occupants. When we clean an area, it's done only with our
little Muffet present. The three boys play together in the other side.

Yesterday (it being Saturday) Percy cleaned one half of the room, being
interrupted several times (once by a phone call from me) and before he
finished, the three boys decided to take a snooze. He couldn't find them!
Anywhere! The room appeared empty of ferrets! He'd lost our ferrets, he
was going to be toast for sure!

I'd made a change in the room, and he hadn't noticed. Wanting a nice dark
place for them to sleep, I'd put a floral print storage box with a round
hole for ingress/egress into a corner, held in place by a storage cabinet,
with only a narrow isle (ferret size) as access. Of course he eventually
found them, but when I came home, there he was - with grey hair. Oh,
that's right, he had grey hair to begin with!

Georgia - the left coast one...
