Hello to all...Thanks for all the advice!!  Trish (director, ferrets 1st
rescue & shelter) gave the opinion of Benadryl Allergy Elixir at 1cc given
an hour before the shots.  I did this and they seemed calmer than normal.
The vet visit was a success and I really wanted to thank all of you that
gave me really useful information!!!!
 
Also, when I had no idea what vet to go to, reading this has helped me to
find the closest to me.  I really think it was a pleasant experience!!  I
was rather nervous because of the warnings I've heard but I'm glad I
educated myself!!
 
The vet said they were healthy with an ear-mite problem and received drops;
10 days on 'stop' 10 more to kill the eggs.  (This really grossed me out!!!
I felt like the ferrets and myself were dirty!!  Made me itchy!!)  Will
this stop them completely, I hope???  This must be 'small potatoes' for
all you breeders out there but she showed me under a microscope, it was
disgusting!!  (Is this what you are talking about with pet stores?
Dirty??)  I don't want to go on and on, just a special-THANKS- to whoever
gave me some pretty good advice!!!  (You know who you are...I hope!!)
Been feeling alot more comfortable about owning these cuties!!
