I am out the door.  I am NOT bringing a laptop with me, so if I check my
email, it will be because of the kindness of strangers, so don't expect any
responses for the next couple of weeks.  I will be in Oklahoma tonight to
see a few people, then tomorrow and through the weekend I will see people
in Texas.  Then NM, AZ, and on to CaCaLand.
 
I told most people I would stop when I asked for directions, so anyone who
got that message can assume I will call and stop.  I also sent several
messages to others after deciding to make a special effort to get out and
see them.  If you haven't received some sort of confirmation by the time
you read this note, you can assume I NEVER saw your request.  For that, I
am sorry.
 
I am looking forward to meeting lots of new friends, more than lots of old
ones and a few special wild and crazy ferret nuts.  Putorius, old boy,
where the hell are you? ;-)
 
When I return, I shall finish the last of my environmental posts, and then
get more stuff on the Geeks' list.
 
See some of you soon; the rest when I return.  Southwest to Florida people;
you will be next.  You can always pray for a hurricane.....
