Wow that's incredible.  I now reside in the south (TN) and I did not know
this either.  Ok if it is against the law to sell ferrets in the entire
state, what are the laws governing ownership?  adoption?  Can you own a
ferret there?  And can you say... give a shelter a paper work fee, or
adoption fee, or just donate money......... and then get a ferret?
anyone out there with answers?
