A comment and a question:
Greg and Alice, re: Tat. Dr. Williams will probably say something about
this, but Dr. Kawasaki, for whom I worked last year, found that the insulin
blocker Proglycem worked pretty well. However, it is pretty expensive (I
think it was around $90 for about a one month supply). It's benefit is that
unlike Prednisolone, a steroid which is used as therapy for this disease, it
does not depress the immune system. She can reach Dr. K. at (703)-690-2580
for more info. Dr. Williams, have you had any experience with it?
The question -- could somebody please send me info on how to get to the
Chicago area ferret show two weeks from tomorrow. I'll be coming north on I-
57 from Champaign. Thanks!
