Ah, a ferret dictionary! What a useful resource for the more literate and
worldly ferrets out there. :o) Don't know how common these words are, but
my fiance and I use them all the time...
Head - The little fuzzy thing with eyes and ears peeking out from beneath
the couch
Tail - The long fuzzy thing that ferrets always seem to forget about when
they're trying to hide
Fursnake - A ferret
Furworm - A baby ferret
Furlog - A ferret who has suddenly lost its legs
Furspider - Two hyperactive ferrets walking piggy-back style
Furdoughnut - A curled up sleeping ferret
Furslinky - A ferret with no backbone
Carpetshark - A mischievous little ferret
Anklebiter - See entry for carpetshark
Bunny rabbit - What an otherwise gentle ferret thinks its human is when its
human is hiding deep down in a tunnel (i.e. asleep under the bedcovers)
Lump - That warm cushy thing under the covers that just must be a sleeping
ferret
Rice box - Ferret fun!
Tubes - More ferret fun!
Poofy tail - A sure sign that your ferret is excited
