It was incorrectly stated (by me) in a previous message, that the cause of the
fire at the GCFA shelter was Arson.. That verdict has been downgraded to
"Careless Use of Smoking materials". Situation has changed slightly... When I
went to the shelter this evening to retrieve the computer equipment and other
files, the lights and heat had been restored as well as water. The thick smell
of smoke pervades the air. The carpeting in the office and grooming area were
saturated. I am fostering the shelter mascot, Howdie as well as the newsletter
and membership computer system.
Your donations are still welcome... It should be abot two weeks before we can
resume business as usual.providing wecan get rehabitation approval from the city
