Hi everyone!! I've lurked here for sometime now, a year I think. I last
posted around five months ago. I really don't know how you all find time
to post evyday.. but I do hope that I'll at least get the chance once a
week now....
BIG- I think it's a fine idea to let Dr. Williams psot more then three
times, it's a joy to have him..
Since my last post, we resucued another kid, bringing us to twelve. I
work at a vet's office and someone dropped this guy off. He was in a small
bird cage with a piece of papaya and corn cob.. anyways- he has adjusted
well to his new eleven siblings and has grown to be a husky, wild, man.
I have a question.. (of course :) ) It seems that years ago I read an
article concerning the proper way to hold a ferret. The article made it a
point to say that it was important that the ferret be supported from the
bottom when holding him/her vertically as it was bad for their spine not
to. We have a technician that thinks it's cute to hold them under their
front legs and dangle them. Granted it is somewhat cute- but I wanted to
get the article for him.. any help??
We have had a pretty good year here. Only two surgeries {one adrenal one
exploratory..} Compared to last year's 6 that's pretty good!! Although I
believe it to be Zeus's turn as he as the hait loss pattern going..
Hugs to those of you with sick fuzzies and blessings to those of you whom
have lost one.
Sincerely wishing to post more often...
Michelle an the Terribly Terrific Twelve
