Hi! I just attended the PIJAC small animal certification seminar at the
PIDA convention in Tampa. The lecturer was Dr. Kupersmith, DVM. He did a
great job of correcting the PIJAC materials and adding to them re: ferrets
(e.g. NO CEDAR!). He mentioned that a study had recently been completed
testing the efficacy of the Galaxy-D distemper vaccine on ferrets, and the
study showed good results. For that reason, he does not believe the
product will be withdrawn from the market. He said the study is as yet
unpublished, and took place in Colorado. He did not know where and when
the results would be published and did not know the names of the
researchers.

Does anyone know anything more about this? I would love to get a results
report from the researchers.

Thanks,
Erika Matulich (and the terrific 10)
