I read your post on today's FML regarding the story about Pat Wright and
have only one thing to say about it: RIGHT ON!!!  The question about how he
was using the knife (as you pointed out) was the first thing I thought of
also--"Hey, wait aminute!  He was in his house--the story didn't say WHERE
he was--perhaps in his kitchen chopping broccoli?" I am *officially* a CA
resident, although I have been living in FL for the past 5 years because of
school.  I bought my two little guys down here in 95, and was shocked when
I found out they were illegal in CA.  I've followed, very closely, the
debate in CA since 95 and sympathize deeply with Pat concerning the loss
of Rocky.
 
I've contributed money to the issue in the past, too, because I feel what
happened to Pat was unconstitutional and just plain wrong.  I *hate* the
Ca Ca dept. of Fishing Gestapo already, and this thing with the ferrets
justifies that hatred even more.  People who rely on "junk science" are
true idiots, and don't deserve to right to live among us.
