My guys live in their outside hutch all year round, they come indoors for
house-trashing sessions. I have had other ferrets that loved playing in
the snow.....
I may be wrong but I'm sure that I read somewhere that ferrets deal better
with cold than heat, fur coats and something about being prone to
heatstroke when things start getting much over 25C.
In conclusion: I think that unless American ferrets are different from
English ones or your water pipes are freezing and bursting you probably
don't need to worry!
