Yesterday a poster raised a question as to the cost of Dr. Weiss' video on
ferret surgeries.  I understand that, in order to make the video as useful
as possible, he hired a professional crew to do the taping.  That cost him
some $20,000 out of his own pocket.  At $195 a copy for the video, it's
unlikely he'll even make half of his money back, let alone a profit.  He's
essentially doing it for the ferrets -- giving the vets the necessary
"tools" that they'll need to do good ferret surgery.
