Kim - you sound like the perfect person to have on a list as a foster home
or half-way house. If a shelter in Ohio gets a call that some ferrets need
to be placed, they can call you if it is in your area and the ferrets come
straight to you rather than the shelter, then moved again. You should talk
to the shelters about this - I have a form for foster/half way homes (it is
attached to you, but not to the FML). Fill out this form and send it to
the ferret shelters nearest you. Let them know the ferrets can come to you
first, and then can either be placed by you or through their service. Work
together, don't give up.
