Well, I got my fuzzy back from the vet. She's already back to being a pain
in the butt. ;) Guess she pulled through. So, the final bill was $734
for blockage surgery. Please take chewing on hammocks seriously everyone.
She's only 2 and she's been doing chewing on various things all the time.
It finally caught up. But she's definitely back to her normal self. is
already eating again.
Brenda- Try having 1 fat dog, 3 cats, and 5 ferrets in to the vet at the
same time ;) Whenever we go, we get many many strange looks from other
clients. ;)
That teeth scruffing is pretty cool. I had never thought of that. Mine do
just great with the ferretone on the belly. Of course we had to teach them
to realize it was on their belly before we could ever proceed to doing
anything to those feet!
There is an odd phenomenon in my house. Ferrets don't show up on film. I
can get quickcam shots all I want, that suck something royal because of
where the quickcam is, but I have taken 2 complete rolls of film of my
ferrets, the first one mysteriously disappeared, the second, I took to
get developed, I got back 3 pictures, 2 of my cat, 1 of my puppy, on the
negatives I can clearly see that there are ferret pictures, but they just
didn't want to make it to a print. Hrmmmmmmmmmm. Something fishy going on
here. So, I recently bought what now seems to be a quite vintage SLR with
a GREAT zoom lens. I've been begging for one of these for awhile, I guess
a vintage one isn't so bad. So I'll attempt to snag them with this. We'll
see. My fish are also very elusive so I'll try that too. Hrmm. It's
getting spooky here. ;)
Well, all the other kids miss their little sister. I hope they greet
Stitches well once I get her. They haven't really had problems with new
girls, mostly just like to beat the crap out of new boys. Girls are
apparently made for grooming ;) So, in 2 weeks she can re-join the group
once she gets her stitches out and hopefully by then, Stitches will be here
to greet her as well.
Well, off I go to catch the ever elusive non-photographic ferrets.
